Tom unwrapped Galatians 3 as we read in verse 11 how no one is justified by the law (doing good stuff) but that the just shall live by faith (what you put your hope in not a check list of good stuff). In verse 14 we see where the blessing that was promised Abraham is now come on the Gentiles thru Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
It's not the gospel plus add on's but simple faith like the chorus of this old hymn.
'Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
and to take him at his word;
just to rest upon his promise,
and to know, "Thus saith the Lord."
