Planning and Providing

As the men's group grows so does the amount of food that is prepared each week. Allan Palm's 2 crock pots of taco soup was over whelming as was Joe's brownies, and Tyler's apple pie, apple crisp, and pumpkin pie. Good thing we do 40 sets of push ups and crunches afterwards:)

Session 8 of Stepping Up was about planning and providing. Some of us grew up without a father or one that wasn't present much. As Dennis Rainey put it "that can be like a explorer without a map." So how do we provide for our family without being shown? Provision is more than putting food on the table and a shelter over your head. There is a spiritual aspect to it. What is your vision for your family spiritually? What tangible steps are you taking to accomplish that vision?

First you must know God and then Glorify Him with your life.

Along with prayer and reading God's word here are three things that can help a leader be effective in his everyday life.
Observing, Researching, and Anticipating.
