Wisdom and Grace

Pizza and more pizza. That and brownies and some apple crisp with ice cream and you have a nice men's group dinner. Some diet pop and coffee to wash the calories down and we were good to go.

After George opened the evening for us we watched our7 video in the Stepping up series. Some of the things we talked about were characteristics of a Christian leader.

1. Brokenness   (knowing God is in charge)

2. Uncommon communion (spending time in prayer)

3. Servant hood as an identity (love those they serve)

4. Radical obedience

Joshua was such a man. When others stepped down he stepped up.
[As for me and my house we will serve the Lord..Joshua 24:15]

Once again we were challenged to be servant leaders. To model our faith and be tender warriors for our family and those around us.
