Wednesday night after we finished off Pizza and warm blueberry cobbler with ice cream we ventured into our last session of Close encounters. After some great video footage of a wild turkey hunt in Tennessee Jason Cruise asked the question of what is your passion. What makes you really come alive. He went on to say that God wants to use your passion and talents that are uniquely yours to glorify Him. In Matthew 4:18-20 Jesus refocused Peters passion for fishing for fish to fishing for men's hearts for eternity but he was still a fisherman.
Jeremiah 1:5 talks of a destiny by design. May we come to realize who we are in God and pray, Father, Your love for me existed even before you formed me in my mother's womb.
You knew me and set me apart for Your special purpose long before I was born.
Help me to receive a deeper revelation of this truth, so that I might continue
to walk out my destiny in the shadow of Your love.
Also this week remember to pray for the needs and plans God has for others that are in our life.
