God promises to be faithful

Our chili dogs got us warm and the ice cream Sundays cooled us off. The food we fix each Wednesday night for our men's group brings a smile to our face as we savor the eclectic dishes that different ones prepare.
As we're going through a video series on hunting called Close Encounters  we've enjoyed the different stories and hunts and also some of the memories our guys have experienced over the years.
And even though  some of us have hunted and some haven't and we're all different the commonality that brings us together is faith in Jesus Christ. In that faith we declare God to be Sovereign. When reading Matthew 6:19-34 Jesus tells us not to worry for God is faithful and will take care of us.

As we band together each Wednesday night one of the highlights is being able to pray for one another and others who we care about. Below is our prayer for the coming week.

Pray for
Kathy Carlson's mother who is in the hospital.

Marks mom who is having chemo treatment and for Mark as he travels to see her.

Healing for Dick Temple as he recovers from surgery.

Evans family as they travel and their furlough time home.

Uwe's grandson Ben as he recovers from surgery.

For Scotty Wharton and his five children as he grieves the loss of his wife Bev.

Psalm 55:22 Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.
