If we were going to talk about fishing you might think we would have had a Tuna casserole instead of scallop potatoes with little smokies for our dinner Wednesday night. But it was another epic dinner once again with garlic bread, salad and a great dessert. Now when Doug mentions his time as a cook in the Army it's easy to picture him in that role when you eat one of his dinners.
After we finished dinner Tom led us in some Christmas carols and then revisited our theme of doing what God has called us to do. Remember this is the Lord's word—"Follow me, and I will make you fishers of
men." Matt 4:19
Tom talked of how he used to spear fish in Florida when he was a kid. How him and his buddy would fish all the time because that is what he loved to do.
Luke 10:27 says... He answered: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul
and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as
yourself.'"
And then we will “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Mark 16:15
