SOS warmup

After a quick but tasty dinner of dogs and ice cream we took off in a couple of directions Wednesday night. Grace Brinks and Ann Warren needed help with their places and we divided and conquered the weeds, flooding sediment and gutters. Some the guys stayed back and mowed and tidied up at the church. Uwe who just had knee replacement surgery a week ago was there on the riding mower. Now that's a silver star effort to be back serving in such a short time.

All the guys showed up again at 9 p.m. to move the pews over to he fellowship building with the youth to get ready for a weekend wedding. It was a full night but a great effort by everyone. What a start to the Summer of Service.
