I always enjoy the food and fellowship when we share a meal and decompress from the events of the week. It's just good to be with your friends and meet some new ones each week. This week was no different.
Allan showed another Video filmed in Israel. It told how King Hezekiah had repented of Israel's sins and brought the people back to worship the one true God. When the Assyrian King came to destroy Jerusalem Hezekiah threw himself on God's mercy to save the city. God responded to the Kings prayer, his faith, and his effort by destroying the enemies army overnight. ll Chronicles 29-32 shows us that God will go before us if we put our trust in him. He's not a magician that will make bad things go away when we want or some figure we can put on the dashboard of our car to keep us safe but He cares for us and wants us to worship and fellowship with Him each day.

Chuck that he will be a Godly husband for his wife
Bill's girlfriend who is not a believer
Doug wants prayer for the son of man he met that day at the V.A.
Dave for everyone where he works
Uwe asks for strength for Beth and Adam through a tough situation
Robert for peace for the family that led him and his wife to the Lord
Tom for a grandson who's struggling with mental health issues and to give his daughter wisdom and strength to help.
