Take up your cross and follow

We had about 18 guys decide that lasagna, salad, garlic bread, and spumoni ice cream wasn't a bad way to start our men's Wednesday study. Jesus fed the 5 thousand so it's a start in the right direction. John Palm led our discussion after watching series 4 in "Not a fan but a follower of Jesus". The theme was We must die daily to our own desires and be committed to following the example of our Lord. John talked about making Christ like decisions in the every day things that come up in our lives.

How do you talk about taking up your cross and get excited about waiting for the next day to live it out in your life? It's not a give me the ball coach, I'll score moment. Come and join us and see how other guys live it out and the peace that comes as you decide to be a follower and not just a fan of Jesus.

We eat at 6:30 every Wednesday night in the Fellowship Hall/Rev Center Cafe. The study begins around 7. If your a little late there is plenty of room and food.
