Wednesday night was like the dream you have when stuck in the snow on Mt. Hood. Hot Harvest stew simmered in a crock pot for 10 hours along with loaves of garlic bread. The main course was followed by triple delight chocolate cake and German chocolate cupcakes.
After opening with prayer Tom Croley encouraged us to spend time in Gods word and to use tools, like Bible software, that we have available to better understand different passages. As we found out there are many free Bible software programs out there we can use such as E- Sword, The Word Bible software, or MacSword. Tom took us through a short Bible study on the phrase "Book of Life" to show us how to use software in doing a word search. Crock pots and Bible software have one thing in common, you need to add time for them to be effective. Tools only work if you use them.
