When the Party's Over

Wednesday night we once again came, we saw, and we conquered. Of course I'm talking of about the food that Robert and Hal had cooked up for us. Some of us then started the rewiring and others fanned out to do yard work and get ready for our annual picnic which is on Sunday the 12th. We got a lot done and even drilled a few extra holes for ventilation.

But when the party's over it's cleanup time. Do you ever reflect on a party or event when it's over and your cleaning up? Thinking 'man, that was fun' or 'I really enjoyed the people that were here.' That's what it's like on Summer of Service nights.

October 1st and 2nd we can extend that time at our Men's Retreat. Check out our blog and see what all is happening as we get together and have good food, fellowship, some games, and a speaker that will inform and challenge us. Start planning for this right away so we can do some better planning also.
