Wednesday night we watched our first session of our outdoor series "Close Encounters". This is a hunting series and reaches out to men that love the outdoors and like to hunt. It has a spiritual application at the end that gives you something to use everyday. We had fried chicken, potato salad, jo jo's, and ice cream Sundays. If you want a good dinner, a good video to watch, and some great guys to be around, come next Wednesday at 6:30 in the Cafe at church. Any questions call anyone on our contact list on the right side.
Prayer requests:
Pray for Uwe and Kim's grandson, little Ben who is flying in from Montana for a operation on his spine. Pray for wisdom and skill for the Drs. and a healing touch from the Great Physician, our Lord.
Pray for comfort and peace for John and Borgi in the loss of there son.
Pray for healing and minimal side effects as Mark's mother goes thru chemo for lymphoma.
Pray also for sensitivity to those that are hurting around you that you will be used by God to minister comfort and Love.
Remember following Christ is about a relationship, not about adhering to a set of standards that simply govern a person's behavior.
