We brake for projects

Even though we don't have a picture for all the different jobs last night try to picture in your mind all the places and projects we stopped at and helped with. The first project was the feeding of the multitude in which Doug was up to the challenge. He not only fed us but cleaned up as well. We also need to mention Hal and Jack who came early to do some grounds work at the church.

Some of us then went to  Jim and Irene Ricks to work on a project we started over a month ago. We put down some underlayment fabric and then brought in 7 and a half tons of round rock to lay down. All the rock didn't get spread because darkness enveloped us and we stopped. No one brought a flashlight.

Others went to Brian and Jennie Epps and did sundries other jobs for the lawn and also inside. It's always a pleasure to help Brian who has helped with so many projects and we get a opportunity to show him what he taught us. How did we do Brian?

The other project we put the brakes on for was exactly that being the start of a brake job. We found out what parts to order and then we will finish it so Robin can put the pedal to the metal. That's right Pastor Bob did give a sermon on obeying the speed limit. He will at least be able to brake safely for  those in the crosswalk. Join us next week as we finish some of these labors of love.
It won't be long before our Braking for projects turns into Braking for daylight.
