It was fun and more to come

 We had some great sweetcorn and hot dogs last night and then we began our different projects. Some stayed at the church and worked on Caris, mowed, trimmed, and finished varies jobs. Others  went to Bonny Dabbs and trimmed her hedge and got it ready for winter. We had a great turn out and next week is our last Summer of Service with guys that can come early meeting at the church at 4 to help move Don and Anna Hodges.   Contact Hal if you can be early. The rest of us be there at the regular time.


In support of Brian Epp......
The Vancouver Walk to Defeat ALS event is one day away.  Saturday September 24th at 11:30am people supporting Brian are gathering at Esther Short Park to register for the walk and take group pictures and get organized for the start of the walk at 12 noon. The walk is about three miles round trip along the Columbia River. There are support teams that have signed up pledgers to raise money in support of this great cause. Below is a Brian's support team and more information on the walk.
