Wednesday night we had a classic dinner with pork chops and apple sauce, potatoes and gravy, salad and french bread. For dessert we had rhubarb and raspberry cobbler, a shiny top blueberry cobbler and chocolate cookies. We like to highlight the dinners we have because it's fun to get together and enjoy a good meal and good fellowship. Being able to get away from the busyness of life is important.
Setting aside a special time to spend with God is also important. Learning who God is and what He says in His Word is more to be desired than gold. On Wednesday Roger Dabbs pointed out that reading biblical prophecy's reveals the truth in God's Word and His coming to live and die for our sins was not only prophesied but fulfilled over 2000 years ago. Roger will finish his discussion on biblical prophecy this next Wednesday. Have a great Easter. He is Risen......
