Explosion
Last night we had a taste explosion with old fashion hamburgers, fries, and root beer floats. Robert also brought a chocolate cake with coffee in it. We could have put on some big bopper music and felt right at home. It was a fun time to just hang out and enjoy good food and fellowship.
As we gathered in the living room, we opened with prayer and Tom began the lesson on fossils and dinosaurs. He shared how man, when unable to prove how the world was created without God, come's up with new theories on evolution. Darwin believed in gradualism, that everything changed slowly over time. That doesn't seem to work with the fossil record's because we can't find the same animal slowly changing so new ideas have come forward like the Cambrian explosion theory where life changed very quickly.
Can the people around us see the reality of who God is through our lives or do they keep struggling with new theories?
