In the Shadow of the Sactuary

We burned pallets in the pit for a couple hours. Then we prepared the pork and about 20 hours later we were ready for a picnic. And what a beautiful day for a church picnic with games, hay rides, and wonderful food in addition to the pork. Also, the dunk tank raised $400 to be given to one of our missionary families.

It's great to celebrate 147 years of God's goodness here in Brush Prairie. Thanks to everyone who helped with the set up and take down for the picnic. Food, fun, and fellowship are words that come to mind as I looked around Sunday. There are old and new faces and lots of kids growing up in the shadow of the sanctuary.
