This is the final year for baseball in Portland - the Beavers are having a church night on Fri August 20. Ticket price can't be beat - $8.00 - now if that didn't get you this will - HOT DOGS $1.00 - I'm bringing $10. just for that and finally FIREWORKS after the game - count me in. Here is the key to the night - you have the chance to buddy up with one of the youth from the church who does not have a Dad at home - what a great way to connect and build into someones life. You can share your baseball stories - you know, how you taught Babe Ruth everything about hitting home runs. The youth ticket would be covered by the church if needed.
