When it Rains it Pours

Our first Summer of Service night we thought was rained out. But the rain stopped at the last minute and after grabbing some chips and dogs, gabbing about the jobs, knocking back some chocolate ice cream, we headed off in three different directions. Some to trim branches, some to clean gutters, and some stayed at the church to beautify. We got back more than we gave. Some hugs, heartfelt thank you's, and yes even more dessert. When it rains it pours....it felt good to be poured out...in service.
